i make these scenes out of what is available to me...old toys, skeletons, natural elements, religious trinkets, forgotten treasures, popsicle sticks..whatever i can find... after melting, sculpting, painting, burning,(etc.)...i have one of my mixed media theatrical constructions... they're typically housed within wooden boxes.... and then photographed by myself....often they're story based...they are sold through the 58 gallery in jersey city ,nj ... or on the road, at art fairs, rock concerts, art bazzaars ...who nows where i'll be next.
check the schedule at myspace.com/johnwfesken. peace and love, blood and guts. i love you forever.

It was wonderful meeting you at Voodoo in New Orleans! "The Opponent" looks perfect in our home and our son Devon loves "Edgars Sacrific". I just noticed he was already a fan of yours! Thank you again.

yeah workin on a bunch of stuff- tryin' to keep up with all the shows and having enough work, but most importantly tryin' to keep the love in each peace. i did 21 drawings in 2 1/2 days - it made my hand all sore and swollen- so yeah, workin' like a madman.

i went to a prison 2 days ago, took some pics, and since my dad used to work for the prison system, he said he would try to get me in on death row with camera, some time next year. im terrified but i cant wait! what are you drawing?

Hi. My name's Jose. I bought one of your pieces (walking under a pink moon). It looks great on my wall and traveled fine. Anyway I hope you look into getting some business cards, there are places to get them cheap or free on line. Also the hanger wire was very high in the back and I actually had to hang it on a nail instead of the hangers I usually use, so keep that in mind. Of course the piece is beautiful so that is my only critique. I normally would just use wood screws, but wanted to maintain the integrity of the piece. Anway I am joseinorlando on gmail, so if you have a mailing list and can let me know of any shows you have coming that would be awesome. Especially in the ATL.
